Leigh Ann Miller is an operator and investor in the consumer and fashion space, known for building and scaling high-performing retail businesses. She acquired, built, and scaled Pink Bee GVL, a women’s clothing store in Greenville, South Carolina.
Under her leadership, Pink Bee surpassed $1 million in revenue in under two years. She scaled the business with disciplined merchandising and strong customer loyalty, ultimately exiting in June 2024 at a 7x return on investment.
Originally from south Louisiana, Leigh Ann attended Wofford College and chose to make the Upstate her home. After beginning her career in higher education, she earned her MBA from Clemson University and a certificate in Venture Finance from UC Berkeley, positioning herself at the intersection of operations and growth strategy.
In 2020, she acquired Pink Bee during a period of uncertainty and transformed it into a highly profitable retail business. She curated a distinct point of view, carrying brands such as Lilly Pulitzer, Barbour, Smith & Quinn, and Sail to Sable, while building a loyal and repeat customer base.
Leigh Ann now serves as Managing Partner of MAE New York, a luxury women’s clothing brand, where she has consistently delivered 16–20% year-over-year sales growth, reinforcing the brand’s position in the market through disciplined expansion and strategic partnerships.
Beyond her professional work, Leigh Ann is actively engaged in civic and philanthropic efforts. She serves on the National Advisory Council of The Policy Circle, supports the planning of two local charity balls, and is a committed donor to academic, athletic, and patient-centered initiatives, including her local children’s hospital.
